Lance Boots Funerals has been a part of the Raymond Terrace community since 1893 and is now owned by fourth generation funeral directors, CR Smyth & Son.

The experienced team at Lance Boots Funerals understands the grief and confusion that comes with the loss of a loved one. When you arrive, you’ll meet a team of professional and long-term staff. We’ll arrange the personalised memorial service to be the tribute that your loved one deserves. This can include music, photographs, service sheets, floral tributes, public notices (newspaper and social media), catering and more. We also take care of transport, legal requirements, and burial or cremation details.

At Lance Boots Funerals, Raymond Terrace we have our own chapel, which can accommodate up to 100 people. The chapel is non-denominational, which means that funeral services can be conducted by civil celebrants or leaders of any religion.

You can then use our reception area to share stories and special memories with your loved ones.

For 130 years, Lance Boots Funerals has been a family business.

130 years have passed since Raymond Terrace local Lance L. Boots established his funeral service. Much has changed since then; the horse-drawn hearses have gone and funeral directors no longer work by candlelight during late night visits. Many things have remained the same; our company is still part of the same community and we value personalised funeral services.

After many generations in the Boots’ family, Lance Boots Funerals is now owned by the Smyth family. In fact, Paul Smyth and his children are third and fourth generation funeral director in the Hunter region, so you can be confident that his team will take excellent care of your loved one’s funeral.
